Top 10 Tuesday: What’s in My Cosmetic Bag

  1. Sephora’s The Escapader Make-Up Bag ($22.50 CAD. sephora.com) is black, quilted, pleather, waterproof and fits into my purse or carry-on. It keeps all my makeup and hair essentials secure.
  2. Lancôme’s Definicils  High Definition Waterproof  Mascara in black ($32 CAD. lancome.ca) gives volume to my lashes and definition, too from root to tip. It glides on easily – no lumps or clumps ever – and for extra va-va-voom effect I just add on another coat, okay two. And with one sold every three minutes I’m not alone.
  3. Lately instead of using foundation, I’ve been using YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer ($55 CAD. sephora.com.) it obscures imperfections without the colour. I look polished even if I don’t wear any other makeup.AND I love the its golden shimmer.
  4. MAC’s Creamblend Blush in Posey ($26 CAD. maccosmetics.ca.) blends smoothly and easily.
  5. Skin fades with age. To restore the colouring I used to have I always finish my makeup routine with Nars Illuminator in Copacabana ($38 CAD. sephora.com.) on my browbone, the tops of my cheekbones and just above the bow of my upper lip.
  6. Maybelline The Nudes Palette
  7. “You are never fully dressed without a smile,” and my smile is framed  with the perfect matte blu-red Ruby Woo Lipstick ($20 CAD. maccosmetics.ca.)
  8. For a lighter shade my go-to is Revlon’s Pink in the Afternoon and Rimmel’s Vinyl Gloss in Snog. (Available at your nearest drugstore)
  9. L’Oreal Paris Infalliable Silkissime Eyeliner in black
  10. Fracas by Robert Piguet Parfum Purse Spray 7.5 ml ($150 CAD. perfumeparadise.ca)
